I was worried about Mick's health, but I see he's recovered nicely. His favorite flick is "The Princess Bride." Be aware that he doesn't wear a T-shirt, but likes getting wet. Something about showers...

Yes I have recovered ,what's up with the lactulose ? I take 70mls a day,every day. I want to give Mitzi some guidence . So Mitzi watch all movies from the R.K.O Studios. Starting with the best movie ever made Orsen Wells "Citizen Kane" . That should keep you occupied for now . I hope I haven't used up too much of your attention time .haha

I haven't seen, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." I was thinking about watching it a couple of weeks ago.

Another favorite of mine is, "The Bucket List," with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson.

I do love movies.

The postman always rings twice . Jack Nicholson remake , Jack nailed that role .
found it in Eb's naughty stash while looking for my nose hair trimmer . When he borrows that thing it never seems to work right and it smells very suspicious .

Mitzi, I didn't mean to come across as it may appear , I thought The Adjustment Bereau was pretty good and Wall Street ,Money never Sleeps was pretty good ,bit of a soft ending. I find with a lot of the new movies there's a big budget telling us how good it is , a bigger budget for the special effects and not much of a story . Here in Ettalong Beach is not only like 1984 the movie but it's 20 bucks a head to go to the movies.

I actually had a neighbor once named Candy Kane.  And no, she wasn't a stripper.

Curious Case of B....was thought provoking and very well acted. 

Check into the remake of Cape Fear with Robert DeNiro, made about 20 or so years ago.  Hair raising (no, not nose hairs.)  It was originally a TV movie but went to DVD.  It might be hard to find, but Netflix has it.  Mitzi, for $10 a month (one DVD at a time, unlimited DVDs) it might be worth it for you.  I'm on a limited income and very rarely go to the movies, so this way I average 8 DVDs a month.  You also get unlimited streaming video...to your computer or TV (if you know how to hook it up--I don't.)  Of course, there's the library (free!) but they don't stock newer movies, from my experience.

I LOVED The Bucket List, but I pretty much love Morgan Freeman in anything.

I have seen Cape Fear about ten times. Loved it. De Niro was great.
My son is a techno guru. He gets movies from YouTorrent I believe. We download them onto the Playstation, watch them, then delete them. We have Comcast Infinity but do not subscribe to movies. On occasion we use The Red Box at Walmart.

Has anyone watched, "Paul," yet?

Mick, I am so sorry about the $20 movies. There is no way I am going to pay that price. I also watch movies on regular cable to. I'm into it deep.

That $20 a ticket price is in Aussie money. Their dollar equals 2 pages of S&H green stamps and a ticket on the Brisbane ferry. Don't feel bad, Mick is an Aussie millionaire. Licking all of those stamps is what damaged his liver.

Mitzi, a bit of trivia for you:  I was in 8th grade with Robert (Bobby) DeNiro--private school, Greenwich Village, NYC.  He was VERY shy (though I was his dance partner frequently at school dances.)  I was really shocked when he became an actor.  But from what I've read and seen of his rare TV appearances, he's still shy...and a very "private person."

Yesterday ,I had lunch with a male friend ,Karen showed a lot of trust in me .She didn't ring my mobile when I was a little late home ,she rang his.
