Well guys we are mo ving once again ..to a rehab that he will get physical therapy 3 hours a day ..they will do dialysis there too ..it is closer to home ...yippee ...ten mins away ...hopefully next step home ..al is doing well ..but his white blood count is still very low 1.2 .....

Thinking of you and your family as Thanksgiving approaches. Glad Al is close to your home. Hope the rehab will work out good. Best to you all.

Thanks angie ..rehab is pretty strick ....I can only visit Mon - Fri 4 pm - 8:30 ..they don't want families getting in the way for their recovery.....weekends are a,little more lacked ....I think this is the push he needs .....hope u and hubby have a good thanksgiving

Elle,

  I had my Thanksgiving Day yesterday and day before.  My hubby felt so good, he stayed awake all day (16 hrs both days), he went with me for drives both days..one day to get hay and we saw a deer and hawks.  We drove and talked like the old days. He recalled things we did over the last 15 years, and his sense of humor is back and it was like having an old friend back after a 9 month absence.  I can't tell you how wonderful it was.  I am so so grateful. I couldn't have gotten a better Thanksgiving gift.  Hope you and Al have a wonderful day.

That's awesome angie ...... We are celebrating today ....family is coming at all different times have to share my children with the ex ....then go visit al so it should be a wierd but interesting thanksgiving here ..I cooked everything yesterday so that's out the way .......

al is doing good .........He gets a little better everyday ...We might be half way up that mountain ..................Im ready to free sail down...Let me not get to ahead of myself...lol

Elle,  Good for you guys.  Sounds like Thanksgiving was good.  We have our Al candle that we light and think  of you Al and your family often.  On the downhill slide...hurrah for that.                                  Angie1953
