I really really hate HE ! Marks newest count showed he is up to 93 now,and cant understand why I am so angry that he wont keep taking the lactulose.I actually screamed at him when his results came back.now I feel bad. I guess I will start sneaking it in his coffee !

Try injecting insulin in the top of his thighs. You could tell him that if he's hospitalized and won't drink his lactulose, they'll give it to him rectally. I have to believe he will taste it in his coffee.

They actually will do that in the hospital: Give Lactulose rectally.

David, insulin? Where did that come from?

notenoughhelp said her husband bleeds when injecting his insulin. It was on page 3 from 8/6/2012.

Have you tried Kristalose...It doesn't have a taste....or at least me and Dennis don't taste anything when mixed with real cold water....I know insurance doesn't pay as well as it does for lactulose...

Mark doesn't have a problem with the taste of the lactulose,he hates the poops !The Drs and I cannot get through to him that he needs to have 3-4 bms daily,he thinks if he goes once he is ok !
