Thanks for the replies and as big a pain as I can be sometimes I am equally appreciative of each of you . Believe it or not every person new or old who post here helps me understand each unique plight we all face against one enemy .
I posted this in mind for Marie and Angie as I had been following conversations in the care givers thread . Both relative new comers that rank highly in my opinion amongst our female members and leaders . So many ladies I see struggling for answers in past and current relationships that drag themselves over the coals in a war they didn't expect to be involved in ( Much like my lovely wife ) . I have seen our female leaders putting themselves " out there " for others unselfishly . Kudos to our ladies new and seasoned vets alike .
So much goes unsaid by the men in their lives about
the condition they are suffering through . Most fella's don't like to be perceived to be weak by anyone , This disease pushes a hurt dog in the corner , So to speak . Pushing a hurt dog in a corner usually gets someone bit and unfortunately that someone is far to often our softer and sweeter other half . Hopefully by posting this it will lessen the pain of the bite .
Things women know but don't take into account such as the male ego , sexuality , Machismo and other things just don't always seem to register into the equation often . Most of these important things I and other males have ingrained in our existence are slowly removed as this disease progresses . " Why those petty things need be important " our female counter parts may ask . Well I ain't doctor Phil but I'll be glad to take a shot at a answer : It's what we perceived real or imagined as to why you picked our mangy butts to start with . Face it we don't have that much to offer otherwise
.
And to my male comrades . Don't worry I refuse to give the details of the secret handshake and any information pertinent to the guide lines listed in article 714b & c of the " Man hoe " handbook . So please no hate mail !!!
