Well, it's that magic time again and I have to see what the ICC has been up to. This is definitely the not so fun part of liver disease. Funny how you can manage to block things out for a time but then you do have to really look at it. Hoping for stable, very wonderful word sometimes.

Anyone have your doctors run a "hepatic perfusion" timing bolus testing sequence during your MRI sessions?

They did this with me today and I'm doing some research on this to find out more about what exactly they can extract from the data. My liver (background parenchyma portions) shows a very strange perfusion effect (lots in fact) on the early arterial phase of the contrast imaging, due to my advanced PSC. This heterogeneous enhancement will then persist throughout the rest of the dynamic phases.
