second time around

I would say that depends on why the first treatment didnt work,such as you couldnt finish the treatment,,,,if thats the case,then I would say another time around might be a good idea. What has your dr said ? Also,when did you go through the first treatment? There are a few new things they can do to help you complete your treatment,,,,such as lower the dosage, treat some of the symptoms,ect,,,if you took the treatment a long time ago,,,,this may not have been available to you. good luck

Sorry about the late reply but I just recently joined this forum. I hope you are still checking in.

A few questions. What is your genotype? What stage is your liver disease in? How did you respond to combo therapy the first time?

My genotype is 1a. I am in Stage 4 which is cirrhosis. I did the therapy for 48 weeks in 2006. My viral load was undetectable within 8 weeks starting but had returned to 3.35 mil at my 90 days post therapy blood labs.
My options are do I treat again or do I just let the HCV run amok?
