Thanks to all of you! I call you all my friends. I am going to see my sister who is now in the final stages of liver failure. I drove 34 hours to get here, and we will drive an agonizing 10 hours to get there. In between we are having frantic calles from falimly members 'who really didn't want to know". This has become a real lesson in family dinamics~ I'm quire sure you all know what I now know. When it comes down to a situation like this...check all egos at the door PLEASE! The alive people are so much worse than the almost dead ones! So sorry about the abrupt natue of this email, but I am so sick and tired as a cregiver and everyone NOW has an opinion. For crying out loud. I guess thats why I'm here in this forum...I'm literally crying out loud. Anyway. Thank God you all are here. I will stay with you as you have stayed with me. Through the INSANITY!

hi mary,

please be carefull driveing, when people are up set things can happen. so sorry to hear about your sister my thoughts and prayers are with you. dont worry about your spelling mine is not perfect this is not spelling forum.
when people are up set they cant even think let alone spell. i went through liver failure with my father last year, its a horrible disease. i check the posts almost everyday to see whats going on yours caught my eye you are through the roof with upset. let us know whats going on? if you want to cry out more i should have my email posted. good luck and take care.

Dear Mary, we all know what you are going through and feel for you. And yes family start coming out of the woodwork when things get tough. They probably are trying to help as best as they can, but because they haven't been there through the thick and thin they don't have a clue as to how you are feeling with having had to carry all the load. I have said it before and I'll say it again. Being a caregiver is the hardest job that I have every had. I use to take walks to help calm me down and if that didn't work I would get on heallingwell and vent. Everyone understands and we are here to listen and try to be a support to you and each other. Hang in there. We are all praying for you. :-) Pink Grandma
