PAIN PAIN PAIN

Hello all

Not sure whats causing this pain.  But i alsways feel like someone punched me in the stomach and upper stomach!!!  I have done test for ex. Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, CT-Scan, Ultrasound and blood work.  Everything is normal.  I just have motility Disorder . Whatever that is lol...  I have had my gallbladder checked also by ultrasound and blood work and im ok.  So what is this pain i feel all the time?

It's not ruled out until you've had a HIDA scan. And even then I had three before mine came out conclusive!

Upper-GI pain might also be caused by gas. Ever tried anti-gas pills before every meal? What about antacids? Acid reflux can also cause pain (although I'm not sure if it's as bad as what you have--at least not without leaving evidence for the endoscopy to find).

Motility disorder is when your GI tract doesn't move at the proper speed. For some people it might move to fast (they almost always have diarrhea problems). For others it moves too slowly; they almost always have constipation and gas issues.

My mother's cousin's motility was slow and it got so bad that her stomach shut down and they just did gastric bypass on her. But that's an extreme case. My mother has also had slow motility for years and hers has not gotten worse.
