I just came back from a visit with my GP. When I told him my colonoscopy and endoscopy results were clear, I asked him what the problem is. I asked 'could it be IBS?' He told me 'probably'. When I asked him what I should do he told me to 'Do what works for me' but gave no actual suggestions. He told me to cut down on all laxatives (lactulose,Senokot,Milk of Magnesia) none of which I longer take as they were ineffective in addressing my
constipation. Then he spoke into his tape recorder, said he will see me in 3 months and to have a good day.
I cried in the car. I don't know what else to do. I mean, I am glad it is not something serious like
colon cancer and things like that. But this is interfering with my life. I feel like I am being treated like a fool, like it is all one big game.
Knowing that there is nothing I can do, my plan is to simply wait for my second colonoscopy and endoscopy on September 3rd and even if it is clear, I know this doctor took much more of an interest in my case and respected me enough to hear me out. I am on the cancellation list.
Not sure what else I can try. GP told me I have no food
allergies (Maybe I am see through?) <!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_729682--><!-- THE POST -->
