Maybe Gallbladder problem?

I had my gallbladder removed approximately 11 years ago. I will say that if you have gallbladder issues, you will definately know. The pain isn't really any type of "queasy or full feeling, uncomfortable feeling". gallbladder issues, for me at least, were some serious pain. The kind of pain that you would feel if someone was stabbing you under your rib cage with a butcher knife. I also had extreme vomiting before finally going to the ER and going in for emergency removal.

I can say that I get the uncomfortable feelings in my left upper side, the queasy full feeling when I am bloated, and it's also hard to sit in certain positions because of all the "pressure" caused by bloating/heartburn/gas.

My gallbladder pain wasn't limited to either side region, but was more in the center up under my rib cage all the way down...like someone had a knife stuck in my chest and was twistint the knife all around.

My gall bladder didn't hurt on the right side until the very end. For 5 years it hurt along my diaphram in no particular place. I didn't get stabbing pains, but I did get terrible cramps/spasms. I also ached sometimes in my right shoulder and down to my elbow. And yes, I would sometimes have pain that was not full blown, but which was a general sort of achy, general sort of queasiness and feeling full. In five years, I think I had the whole range of mild to severe pain and nausea.

You do need to have an endoscopy, though, to check for stomach ulcers. They will also cause the kind of pain you are describing and on your stomach-side.
