anyone have a sphincteroplasty

I was just wondering if anyone here ever had a sphincteroplasty, and wether they had any trouble with it.

Hi ohcountrybear I googled shincteroplasty cause it looks like something that I'm going to get checked out tomorrow.I was right the procedure I'm going to get done will be checking that area for any problems I hope the doctor will be able to let me know whatever is going on can be fixed.I will let you know how it goes wish me luck and say a little prayer for me everyone.

I had it done Feb 17th. I had complications and long story short they went back in on march third and put an ileostomy bag on to allow everything to heal below.

Hi, I just noticed your post and wanted to tell you about the I Survived Sphincteroplasty thread. I'm not sure if you've visited but a lot of us have had or are having splasties with varieying amount of success and/or complications. There's also a site for a few of us that have had fistula's and ostomies to deal with them on a Rectovaginal fistula site. I'm not sure if that's what you have but you'll find help with either there!
