Is it possible to have minimal pain with IBS?

It seems a lot of people compain about severe cramps or pain with IBS.  I am some sort of stomach/intestine disorder.  I have a dull pain below the belly button.  It is not severe. I also have extreme fatigue and loss of appetite.  Are those symptoms of IBS?  I have some diarrhea  and constipation.

There are a lot of things this could be. I would recommend making an appt with your primary care doctor to rule out other options first. Good Luck.

Hello and we meet again.  Have you been dx with IBS?  I agree with scared2getsick, do seek out the advice of a physician. A GI physician would be your best choice.

You want to make sure you know what your dealing with.

Not all people hurt with IBS. I have a lot more diarrhea than I have pain; it all depends on what's causing your bowels to be messed up. If your bowels are just slow, and that's why you're constipated, then you might not hurt, except if you get too backed up or have trapped gas. And some people can have terrible pain and bloating, but nothing is wrong with their stools.
