fever of 101 and chills . Biliary colic

Hi everyone , i have been dxed with biliary colic and i had an attack earlier with nasea and vomiting . I took meds the dr prescribed and the pain  and vomiting has  eased up. But now I noticed i have 101 fever and chills . what should I do? I put a call into my dr  and waiting for them to call back.  Can my fever and chills be caused by the biliary colic and the medcine masked my other symptoms besides the fever and chills?  I aprreciate any help.

Its not a stomach bug. I dont feel ill other than  stomach pain with fever and chills.
