A lot of IBSers have rectal hypersensitivity.
So yes, you can feel " pressure in the rectum."
They should check for some different things. If its IBS mucus is not a concern.
"Some patients see gobs of mucous in the stool and become concerned. Mucous is a normal secretion of the bowel, although most of the time it cannot be seen. IBS patients sometimes produce large amounts of mucous, but this is not a serious problem. "

It can be disconcerning, but in IBS the mucous is not really something to worry about.
endomitriosis can cause some issues.
For an IBS diagnoses there are specific symptoms minus red flag symptoms.
Let us know how the IBD test comes out? What test is that?
