COULD THIS BE A SPHINCTER PROBLEM??

I'm 37 year old male with very funny problem!

about three years ago there was what seems like bloating but no gas was ever passed too much on lower intestine area and no pain. Theres no stomach upsets ever or anything. So I ignored it. My waists size was 36 and it became a fortytwo due to the bloating but sense there was no pain I didn't bother thinking it was a issue. about 12 months ago the bloating one night expanded into stomach area and ever since than I have troubles breathing and extremely lower back pain and abdominals pain (more like pressure all over the gastointestinal areas and its visible) all the time. Went to the x-ray office and they took xrays plus a CT Scanning thing and nothing was found. Doctor said if it was acculmulation of water it would show so its not edema or ascites. Also have terrible headaches in my head like it's literaly going to burst all the time. This has been going on about 3 months. I cantt have endoscopy done because too expensive but Here's the list they have RULED OUT -

IBS
Ascites
Edema
Constipation
Bacteria problem like bad bacteria or h.pylori
Hi Blood pressure. Mine is 120 over 80
A bunch of other things like blood infection or leukemia or kidney stones or pancreas problems


I'm start to think it's a sphincter problem where gas has collected inside the GI tract. Taking gas pills doesnt help but it won't if the rectal sphincter is suppose to open periodically to let gas out and that valve is not opening time to time like it should. could it be a accumulation of gas due to spinchter not opening periodically??

I am a big hypochondriac with anxiety issues as well and I have had both done and didn't have one ounce of trouble with either. They were over before I knew it and even after the endoscopy I thought I would have a sore throat or something but I didn't.

The colonoscopy was fine too and I am sure you have heard this before, it is the prepping before the actual colonoscopy that is the most difficult part.

The weird thing is that when I cleansed the day before and literally had NOTHING left in my system, and after the colonoscopy I felt so good it was unbelievable. It just goes to show that all of the poisons in your body, once cleansed out, can give you so much more energy. It makes me think that our problems are food-related/allergies. I know mine is from wheat/gluten and sugar substitutes as well.

How did they rule out IBS do you know. It looks like and kind of sounds like bloating and distension from IBS.

This s something you really need checked out.

they siad it wasnt IBS because no flatulence, no gas or blockage in xrays and ctscan. Also no dirreaha or upset stomachs.

The head bursting thing is very very scary and strange. it always feels like pain in my temples where the main arterys are. Like twice as much pressure as it should be. I think its related to the bloating causing all kind of circulating problems with the blood.

I would realy like to have it checked out but no job = no isurance and no money. I went to the local free clinic and got this checked out and they cant do anything else. Thats why Im on here trying to get answers.

I am in my early fifties and I am suffering symptoms to the opening post, and the image that you provided is very similar to my own build.

I am waiting on a combined endoscopy and colonoscopy soon, also getting an ultrasound of the abdomen next week, whether it will show anything or not I really don't know, to be honest I hope it does because that way hopefully something can be done to fix it.

I am actually thinking of asking my GP to refer me to a private consultant as I really can't wait much longer to be seen to.

Last night I went to bed early as the only relief I found was to lie on my back.

when i lie on back side it doesn't help. do you have any sort of severe temple head aches constantly , like big pressure build up?

no I have been job less almost 3 years . this problem got noticeable by me about 4 yrs ago when i started law school and I was supposed to get it checked then. but due to attack upon myy person I had to quit school so no health insurance and no one hires me now because i did college so long ago. and I dont have any out side help like familys
