Sorry Im in Australia so can offer any assistance with reccomending a Naturopath, but call them and ask receptionist if they specialise.
This would be my recommendations in the mean time:
If this is caused by a disrupted nervous system [and it often is] look at Magnesium,twice a day-spend $ and get a good one. Or eat a mountain of wild/organic green leaves and almonds, tissue salts Kali Phos 4 x day [cheap], hypnotism and biofeedback, acupuncture and herbal medicine that calms the system-withania, zizyphus, hops, oats and passiflora [get a formula made up] Sounds like you need a stress reliever. If you can get to couselling or EFT[emotional freedom technique] practitioner-Im certain that would do great things for you as it sound emotionally based.
If its fibre/diet, make a a mix of phsyllium and slippery elm and mix with water-drink twice a day. There are some great formulas out there. Look for ones that have rhubarb too, and/or glutamine.
Buy an aloe vera plant-fillet the skin from the leaves and chomp on the whole thing to get the good results-dont do for more than a month then rest for a week and start again-or blend into a juice [block your nose when your eating it!]
Walk-a lot especially soon after rising, then when you get back drink a large glass of GOOD water, no tap, with the juice of 3 lemons. Google acupressure points for constipation and use those too. These can work fast when its all done together.
Yoga for constipation is great too-look on youtube-theres a fair bit there-and its free. No-one who has ever been a yoga devotee has ever had a constipation issue-for good reason!
Raw food, green smoothies-get some good nutriets into you.Organic or homegrown greens wherever possible.
Do a weekly salt water flush [again cheap] get pink himalayan salt or celtic sea salt-goole the procedure-it works, and will at least clear the backlog, thats important. Drink coconut water after, you do it to put back electrolytes. You may also need Magnesium after as you do lose a bit. You will definately need to repopulate the gut with probiotics afterwards. The cocnut plant is called the tree of life in Indonesia, and all parts are theraputic-eating the oil has settled crohns disease, very good for gut, and not processed by the liver. Can NOT sttle in artereies, and helps mineral absorption.
Drink keffir [you can make this] or get some broad spectrum probiotics-these are really important. Dont be tempted to get the enzymes, as soon as you take them for more than a couple of months, youre body will start to downregulate the making of youre own-not good. Take the precurser to making your own-zinc is critical here. 25mcg every night on empty stomach. Bigestive bitters, or apple cider vinegar 15 mins before food helps.
Avoid sugar and processed foods, bad fats and canned anything-all poison for you and meat cloggs you up big time,
