After almost four years of being diagnosed with IBS, I am finally getting results. Gallbladder was removed because it was lazy and had mild chronic inflamation. Nausea has been better, only have it 50% of the time for about
2 - 3 hours, compared to every day for at least 5 hours. Use to alternate between D and C, now I'm regular 2 BM a day easily. I have always been leary about
my diagnosis, because my symptoms never go away, they get better or worse but never go away. The pain in my lower left abdomen has been at least the size of a baseball for 3 years, and has never gone away.
Doctor just found a lipoma right at the spot where I always have pain, and she thinks this may be the reason for the pain if it is right next to a nerve, going to get a shot of lidocain to see if that helps. Just curious if people had heard of this or if they have any information on lipomas causing IBS-like symptoms.
Same question about lower back pain, only have spasms about 1-2 times a month, doctor thought something causing a nerve issue in the back could be referred to my bowels. And is more likely then a brain tumer causing increased intercranial pressure, which would result in nausea and poor bowel function.
Tried to keep it short if you have any questions, or need me to clarify ask away. Thanks
