Although I used to drink occasionally at the odd party every month or so, having just turned 18, this has become a large issue for me. Everytime i go clubbing, my stomach takes days to recover, even if I just drink a bit and not get drunk. And New Years Eve came as a big surprise to me...I was 'tipsy', not drunk enough to be sick, but just jolly you could say. The day after, I had no issues was extremely shocked! However, yesterday and today i have felt horrible, and never had such a bad episode before since being diagnosed with IBS when I was 14. I am going to Magaluf in Summer, and am nervous about drinking there, as I'm worried if i drink nightly for 10 days, I will cause my stomach a whole load of damage and my IBS will flare to severity. Has anyone got any advice on how to stop this reaction, other than completely avoiding alcohol?!
