21, male, physically fit, healthy diet. I had anxiety 2 years ago but the anxiety I have now is very minor, I live a very social life and am a happy person.
I have healthy stools. Long, brown, quite soft. No constipation or diarrhoea.
Prior to getting these stomach cramping pains, between meals my stomach would burn a little, feel collapsed, my stomach would feel exhausted.
I have had this problem for 7 or 8 days now.
Now I'm having stomach pains which feel like diarrhoea stomach pains, but five times worse. It's a lot harder to breathe when I have a cramping episode. I don't feel any chest pain.
The pain is distributed across my whole stomach area, upper, lower, middle.
My body is sensitive to cold weather and a lot of movement.
It's not a sharp knife like pain, nor is it localised anywhere in particular, although 40% is the lower abdomen, 30% middle, 30% upper..
I also feel pain in my back??
What on earth is happening to me? I gave a stool sample to my doctor. I should have results by friday. I have been given mebeverine and it does help me but I haven't been out of the house since the pain started. I also take gaviscon just in case it's an acid problem.
What on earth is this? Is this irritable bowel syndrome? The thought of having IBS is actually scary. I don't want to have this sort of pain for life.
