I have had problems with my bowel movements for quite some time now. I am either constipated or have what I call 'thick' bowel movements or diarrhea. Sometimes when I have the 'thick' bowel movements, I have severe cramping. There have been times it is so bad that I get nauseated and have thrown up. I had a colonoscopy several years ago due to my age and everything was ok. Does this sound like IBS? Forgot to add that my stomach is always bloated.

I've just started having blood in my stool. The blood isn't severely dark and my bowels are still brown, which means no dark stool or anything.
I've also been having a low grade fever, the highest it has gotten was maybe about 100.
I also have chills and a low appetite. I make myself eat a little each day. I don't have any unusual pain or anything. I do have excessive belching. Can you please help me!!!

See your doc if you consistently find blood in your stool. You might try some dietary exclusions - gluten, starches, lactose, etc. to see if it helps

whitneygrace--I agree with Radon. If you are having blood in your stool, you should see your doctor.
