treating ileus at home. suggestions?

I have had 3 ileus' first one at 33 now I am 39. I absolutely refuse an ng tube. I've emptied my bowels with an entire bottle if miralax, about 20 dulcolax and 20 colace. This has been going on over a week. I'm no longer as bloated but I'm also eating nothing and taking sips of Gatorade here and there. What else can I do? What will they actually do for me in the hospital? When I drink bits of Gatorade it just slips right out. I've noticed blood now but HATE the hospital and do not see what they can do for me there. Please enlighten me someone.

My first ileus I had an ng tube and pain killers. They could find no reason. The second one I refused the tube but the did one of those xray barium enema deals. Same thing, no answers. I've had 4 colonoscopyies. First one I had ischemica colitis but that was years before the ileus. The last three colonscopies have been for precancerous (thingies) Polyps. can remember the names. MY g.i. doc says I'm otherwise healthy. Very frustrated. Won't go into all of the other numerous symptoms/issues I've had. My bowel/gut is now completely empty. I have no pain. I'm going to try a smoothie.

I do consider myself enlightened by you however I just look minorly bloated now and not 8 months pregnant. I think I got over it but if the nausea comes back and nothing passes without laxative I'll go in.
