That is what I have, microscopic colitis. I've found it responds to dietary changes. Most with MC that try diet changes I've read avoid wheat/gluten, then work on trying to find other trigger foods.
Personally I'm working on an elimination diet where I'm only eating wild caught fish, and grass fed cheese (KerryGold Cheese in my case.) The gut is improved and most importantly to me I'm experiencing improved energy and less fatigue of late.
Something else you might take a look at is the genetic prescription Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN). Many, but not all, with MC report improvements after taking LDN. A nice part about LDN is that it has few negative side effects. Not that many doctors know about LDN.
You might look up Wayne Perky's web sight. He calls it the Potty People. Wayne is the only one that I'm aware of that has written a book on MC, writing ways to addressing its symptoms with diet, supplements, and drugs.
I'm not sure if I can post a link but if it works, you can see a thread on the Potty People's sight about MC and LDN here:
"An update on my LDN therapy: A Miracle? An unequivocal YES!"
