mucus after wiping

hi all :)

this is the first time it has happened to me and i am so worried!! i went to the bathroom for a BM and after i wiped there was stringy mucus on the toilet paper and i have been so stressed ever since. I suffer from anxiety so i dont know if this could have caused it because since getting bad panic attacks my digestive system hasnt been the same. I have had recent bloods done and everything was fine but i am going to the drs again tomorrow because all the 'what if's' are driving me crazy!! along with this i got very small and thin BMs this evening so i am even more worried now.

Thank you for your response :) I went to the Drs today and he said that sometimes it's normal but it can also be a sign of inflammation and gluten intolerance or even lactose intolerance so he made me get a blood test just to be sure. I hope I'm not celiac I don't want a life without bread haha
