I am 20 years old, and am not diagnosed with IBS. I had a question and really am not sure if this is blood in my stool? It has a reddish tint. I got this pic from online, but this my stool looks like the middle one. I do not see any active blood on it. I am going to the doctor tomorrow, and getting a fecal occult blood test.

Hello notsure and welcome to HW
With something like this plus your age seek your doctor's advice first and if something is diagnosed, then we're here to help best possible.
Please update on how things go with you.

If there is reddish stool , it maybe bcoz of lower GI ulcer. Black stool meant for upper GI ulcer. But you can wait for sometime to see it's persistent or not.
Do stool routine examination.
