hi guys

I've ordered some digestive advantage ibs from drugstore.com in America to be shipped to the UK and things seem to be taking a rather long time to get moving. I ordered over a week ago - but when i track my order it still says it is in transport to the international hub - which means it still hasn't even shipped yet! (on top of this i'm supposed to wait 7-9 business days for it when it does ship - and that's through the fasted shipping option!)

On top of this, i cancelled my previous order at the same time i made my current one because i wanted to try the caplets instead of the tabs which i had originally ordered. But this refund still hasn't gone through and on the order tracking page they just say they are 'processing it'.

Have any of you guys had experience with ordering through drugstore.com from abroad? do you know how long things take? i think drugstore.com take money through comexia for their international shippings. but neither seem to be much help.

I've emailed drugstore.com politely asking where my order was, just asking what type of time scale i should be looking at - but no response. Any of you gus have any ideas or any experience with dealing with drugstore.com either inside or outside of the US?

All i wana do is try the pills and see if they help me at all, but god knows when they'll get to me - i'm tempted just to cancel the order - but even then is there a gurantee i'll get my money back!?

Oh, roadtrip, I am so sorry. I suggested drugstore.com - they are so good here in the States. I hope someone will come along and tell you their international experience with them.

Well I was told my LandsEnd custom-made clothing shipped this time last week, but it's still not here yet. I asked today and they told me that it shipped internationally and it gets held up most of the time in customs (good grief, what are they doing, logging in every pair of pants that comes into the country?).

I daresay with drugs the trip through customs is even longer. Have to check and make sure they aren't illegal drugs, etc. My longest customs interregation in my trips back and forth overseas came after I went from Wales to Amsterdam, then back to Wales before coming back to the U.S. The agents (in London, no less) were all but sniffing me themselves for pot.

Hopefully customs is where your package is and once it breaks through it won't take but a couple of days to get to you (personally I have gone through U.S. customs for a return trip home while still in Ireland and England--maybe your meds are going through British customs before they get shipped out of the U.S.). The other thing I have found too is that some shipping companies are worse than others about not updating their tracking information immediately. Having tracked many packages for my office, I have seen this happen on occasion. Some FedEx will still be showing in Memphis when it's just been received in Nashville by the recepient (Memphis being their hub).

I'm not too impressed with drugstore though, emailed them again and no response - checked the progress of my order again and this time the first order which i had cancelled was 'being transfered to international hub'! - after it said they were processing my cancellation!

So i have requested a cancellation on that again but the order i actually want hasn't progressed anymore.

I spose i'm just gonna have to sit this one out and wait for it to arrive - whenever that'll be. And God knows itf they'll actually refund my first order. I just wish i could talk to a person or get a response, but they haven't got a number for the UK... sad

just got a reply from drugstore.com

they reckon i'll be getting a refund for my first order soon and they'll keep me informed about my second order

so looks like i'll just have to see what happens...

hi there Lil!

sorry i haven't got back to you guys about the DA sooner, but i wanted something a bit more conclusive before i let you know how i got on.

The thing is, i haven't really noticed any diffrence yet and have just had a bad couple of days anyway. I will keep on taking them tho - i've read some reports from people who have taken over a month before they notice a difference

i might start doubling up on the pills if i don't notice a difference by wednesday (it'll be 2 weeks by then) - do you know when you're supposed to start doubling up on pills if at first you have no sucsess?

thanks for your concern tho - you guys on here are great especially you mods Lil & dbab!  :-)

Sorry you haven't seen any results yet. When I spoke to the DA person from the 800 # she told me that if after a couple weeks, with no change, start to double up. I hope that works for you - it will be such a bummer if it does nothing for you.
