wierd poo!!!!

Hi everyone Sorry to be so gross here but I have had a wierd day with my tum. I have IBS and get constipated a lot and then alternate with ribbon like stools. Havent had much of an appetite last few days and today i thought I had diahorrea but I dont!! Hard to explain!! Every time I try and go to the loo i seem to pass small amounts of loose stool or what seems like nothing at all but when I wipe, I have lots of mushy stool. I know this must sound gross to read but I don't know why Im like this today. Anyone get this?

I think I might have had this before Ill sit on the pot and i can feel stuff coming out but when i look in the toilet there isnt anything there but when i wipe myself its all clear and mushy and gross

It sounds more like mucus to me... and that is quite common.

Thanks for your replies - I do get mucus lil quite a lot, but this was actually poo!!!! Very odd!! I'm not too bad today -not quite back to normal but better than yesterday

I wonder if your mushy BM's are just getting mixed in with the mucus and causing a thicker sludge. ???
Well anyway, I am glad you are feeling better... Lets hope it stays that way.
