hi, had a meeting with my doctor today an he said no more Zelnorm and said to try desiprimine?? i think that's what its called but i don't have it yet. does anyone know anything about
it?

I believe desiprimine is a tricyclic anti-depressant. Did your doc not give you any information on it? That's strange... I would definitely call him and ask about
it since anti-depressants are prescribed differently and on different doses for different people. He should have at least given you some information on it.

Hello, Why did your doctor want to take you off Zelnorm??? Did it not work for you??

zelnorm gave me some bad side effects. the desprimine is low dose, like 10 mg. he said it's a trycylic but i don't know what it means.
does anyone else use it, what does it make you feel like, does it help, thanks...

Hello,, I am sorry but tell me your story again.. How long have you had IBS?? What type of doctor are you seeing?? What other medications have you tried.. Also what do you eat?? These are all things that effect people with IBS...
