Ok, so I have had one for years, but here recently I have had it real bad with alot of blood. Anyone else have one and how did you treat it or fix it.

My doc keeps telling me steriod cream, well it isnt working and I dont know what else to do.

SO....

Any ideas or thoughts?

I have suffered from anal fissures in the past and I used a couple of different creams which did help but it did take about 6-8 weeks to heal fully. You can have surgery for fissures which involves injecting botox into the area to help the fisure heal.

My good friend used to get these and her doc suggested increasing fiber and taking a stool softener when it is extra irritated.

I had a fissure and I tried medication but it didn't work. It got so painful and bloody that I had surgery back in the 90's and I must say it was worth it. The surgery wasn't bad and recovery was fast. Good luck.
