Ok, any help or advice with this one would be great.
I read a previous thread that talked about sudden nausea followed by the urge to have a bowel movement. But there was no advice on what caused it or how to make it stop!
I've had this problem that I call "oh my God I feel like I"m going to puke" attacks for about 5 years. They come and go every couple of months, but when they come, I get them about every other day. I'll be doing normal day to day things, like sitting here typing on my computer or washing dishes, or cooking, and suddenly I get this feeling in the back of my mouth and throat, mouth starts watering, I start shaking, sweating, and swallowing like there is no tomorrow, and I think I'm going to throw up at any second. I usually don't have dry heaves with it, but sometimes I do, and let me tell you how petrified I am of throwing up. . . . this is just a wickedly horrible experience even though it only lasts for a couple of minutes. When it starts to go subside, I get gas really bad and need to have a bowel movement.
I've heard the panic attack stories and reflux from my docs. They tell me basically that I need to deal with it because they don't understand what I'm explaining to them. They seem to think as long as I'm not puking, then nothing is happening.
If anybody can help me, I'd so greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!
