so, as you prob. know since you have not seen my username here often, i rarely post here.

I actually hang out in the Crohn's disease and Ostomy forums....if you haven't been there....be grateful....

anyway, a while ago (actually one a week or so ago) i started a photobucket account for all the members to post there photos to, so that we can all put a picture to a name type deal.....

i figured i shouldn't exclude you all....so here's the deal

Post your pic using the instructions below, then label it with your name...

(post and label if you dare, though you know you don't even have to label the pic so no one has to know who you really are, if you prefer to remain anonymous....also feel free to post other photos of anything you feel relates to this life....)

1) go to www.photobucket.com

2) login in at the top right by entering the following:

username: crohnsdisease (i know, should have been IBD people or something)
password: 6mp3asa

3) click the "browse" button and locate a photo you want to post (it must be saved on your computer before starting this posting process)

4) after selecting the pic, click open

5) let the computer do it's thing for a second....

6) scroll down and see your new pic, and then browse the others....

7) also, you can label the pic by clicking at the top of the picture

sorry if u all already knew how to do this....but i figure i would spell it out for those who don't.....

if you can't login first try, try later since someone else may be logged in.... there are quite a few users looking in there....

I'd like to remind everyone of our Forum Rules:

7lil? you are not saying I "have" to change my profile r u? i myself have no fear of someone finding out my real name........

while i appreciate the need for anonymity, and respect those who chose to remain that way, I don't see why I can't put my name there.....actually, there is no way of knowing that was my name in my myspace address, you just assumed.....it could be an alias.....maybe it is?

and i don't think i was being overly pushy was i, about asking others to post their pics? or were you just warning me ahead of time? if people don't want to post their pic, they can close the thread and never read it again.....i don't think anyone would judge a "profile" (without a face) simply because they chose not to post their pic....

if you don't like the idea.....cast your vote in the poll as "wack" ....but i was not aware that inviting people to participate in my idea was violating any rules.....besides zero-tolerance has no place on the internet! let alone a free state/nation/civilized world....just my opinion......

anyway, not picking a fight here, just clarifying.....do i have to change my profile?

oh yeah, let me clarify......when i said label the pic with your "name", i meant with your "Screenname"

so, i see why u could interpret me as requesting others info.....gotcha...

Hi Gladbag- I've seen you on your Crohn's forum and find your sense of humor (ie- your screen name) very enlightening. I read your idea on the Crohn's forum and thought it was great.  I always wonder what people look like and it was nice to see some of you.  Yogaprof looks great!  That pose is very impressive.  :)  I saw a dear friend with Crohn's last night as we are preparing for a cross country flight for a wedding we are both in in CA.  She has now gained 25 pounds due to prednisone and I nearly fell off the curb at Friendly's (ice cream chain on the East coast- don't know if it's out west?) as she is still rather thin.  I hadn't seen her in a couple of years.  I'd hate to have seen her 25 pounds thinner.  she'd be nonexistent.  She has unfortunately uncontrolled disease - remicade failed to work.       :(        Anyway, we ate ice cream and shared some laughs.  Again, great idea- it was lots of fun to see people.  Hope some on this site do it- though I fully understand and respect if you don't. I can't- don't the equipment to upload.  There is also a girl on the UC website who documented her surgrey (she now has a bag and is only 17)- her pictures were unbelievable- her diseased colon was unlike anything I'd seen recently.  Her surgery was in May and she looks fantastic now!  :)  Have a great w/e to all.

sorry you can't put yours up.....maybe one day someone can give you a hand....or you could use a different computer....
