I have been using digestive advantage for a month now and was very nervous about
trying it. I did not want to have side effects and did not want to become dependent on it. I spent a lot of time prior to taking it doing research online and read a lot of reviews. The info I found was that the overall success rate is high. The side effects are mainly just gas. I did not seem to have this problem. I only take it once with my dinner. I have been completely regular, except right before my period and even that attack was more mild than usual!!! I usually am constipated and then get cramping and diharrea around my period, but now Im a lot better. And if your lab eats a few ills off the counter, it wont hurt him.
There are several different kinds, IBS formula, constipation, and lactose intolerance. I use the IBS formula. I saw A LOT of people complain about
the chewable tablet and said that the tablets you swallow work much better. Apparently, the chewable have artificial sweeteners in them with can be hard on IBS sufferers. I bought 120 tablets of the swallowing kind on Amazon.com for around 20 bucks.
I will say that Activia yogurt also has sugars and I had a horrible experience using it. I had over four attacks each week during the two weeks I used it. I was instantly better once I stopped it. I then chose to try the Dig Adv and so far so good. Good luck, let me know if I can help any more. Trry google for online customer reviews. Free sample comes in chewable form and takes forever to arrive. i couldnt find non-chewable in stores. however, chewable you can find anywhere.
