I know, dude, isn't that just SICK?
The enemas did their job. I just had diarrhea like a wildwoman about 2-3 times. Normally my D is effortless - I could be really Zen here and say it's like "water flowing through an empty room" or something - but this was not effortless D. It was painful and horrible. I think the problem is that after my lumbar puncture, I've had spinal anesthetic and so I have trouble with my Valsalva maneuver - i.e. getting it out! Now everything just feels swollen and inflamed and disGUSTing.
Welcome to C world! This is how I feel 99% of the time! Isn't it crappy (pun most definitely intended).
Enemas make me very ill as well. I don't use them EVER. "Getting it out" - therein lies a big part of the problem. I had friends over for dinner a few weeks back. One of them, a nurse, was shocked and stunned when I squeezed the right side of my abdomen. She said she had never heard sounds like that in her life (I'm obvioulsy the life of the party, heh?). Sounded like the water slide ride in an amusement park. That's what I carry around with me everyday. It's misery. Just won't come out without major "encouragement".
Are you still taking the binding drugs or are you done?
