The burning may be from acid (bile) refluxing up into your stomach. Small, frequent meals and snacks may help absorb that and settle your stomach. As counter-intuitive as it seems, I found there are certain times when I feel sick to my stomach that I actually need to eat. I can't describe the feeling to you, but after 5 years of a bad gall bladder and 5 years of not having one at all, I know what it feels like pretty instinctively.

Avoid acidic foods right now, like all fruit juices and tomato sauces. That can help cut down on the acid problem.

Your body is adjusting to life without an organ. Give it 6 to 8 weeks to straighten itself out. Usually, by that point, what you have left is what you are going to have for the rest of your life. I have to take medicine to keep from having D because of my missing gall bladder, as does my mother-in-law and great aunt. My mother and stepmother are okay, though. So you don't know what you are going to much wind up with.
