I've been working on feng shui in my house (and helping others on a money forum) for better finances and because I want to switch careers. Has anyone ever done feng shui or had a practitioner come in and do their house to improve health? Some people claim what you have in your house can make a big impact on your health. Anyone interested in giving it a go?

Have never done it but it can't hurt especially if you tend to have too much furniture. I had my sofa sort of as a room divider and I loved the way it looked but my friends said it blocked energy that way so I moved it back. Can't say I have noticed any difference except my room looks larger.

And you might not trip over it in the dark.

One of the things that made me think about
feng shui for health was a comment in a book about
a woman who had a really ugly light fixture over her bed that had multiple sharp points pointing down. The feng shui consultant said she knew right then she was in for female problems because of the placement of this light fixture, and sure enough the lady had had a hysterectomy, but was still having pain and doctors couldn't figure out why. She ended up getting rid of the light fixture and got a little better almost immediately and about
three months later called to say she wasn't having any problems anymore.
You're not supposed to have anything with a corner pointing at your bed, be it an angle in the wall that pokes out into the room, a square nightstand, a pointed light fixture, the corner of a large piece of furniture, etc. Supposedly pointed corners that--if you drew a line from them--intersect the bed can give you problems in your body where they intersect, since that's where you spend the most time.
Magnetic streams (you know, as part of the earth's magnetic grid) in the ground under your house can also cause serious health problems, but you need a professional douser to find them and do something about
them. But if you had good health before you moved into your current
location, that may be part of the problem.
