Hi all,
My doctor has just prescribed me Levsin for my stomach pain (as well as Amitiza for constipation). Does anyone have any experience with either of these medicines--especially the Levsin? The Amitiza definitely does the trick, but I a little curious about the Levsin and how other people have reacted to it...

I have used the generic for Levsin which is darn near impossible to find now so I hope you have good insurance. I never found it helped a whole lot. It is an antispaz drug. Strangly enough I have one Doctor that feels the Levsin is bad for constipation because if takes away the contractions that you need to go. Go figure. I found a heating pad did as well as the Levsin. I only take it now for esophageal spasms and it really isn't very effective for that. You have had a lot of proceedures on your instestines so I am not sure what anyone else experienced would be the same for you.

What is the apple cider vinegar doing for you? My gastro said No but some people swear by it. Why are you taking it?
