Nope. Not at all. If I can't "go" every day then I feel so sick and bloated and the pain is so bad. I know it is because of my PFD but if this really does take a long time for it to work, I need to figure out how to deal with the constipation in the meantime. I've heard it can take months, years for biofeedback to really start to do the trick. And when I am sick and constipated I don't feel like doing anything in a social setting (except for going to work, which I have to do).
Doc has me taking Miralax, said it is OK to do on a regular basis. I don't like it because it makes the cramping and nausea worse but in the end it DOES work (no pun intended).
I would love to hear from anyone else who has or is having biofeedback for pelvic floor muscles that are too tight and experiencing constipation as a result of it. Especially if you are doing the home-monitor therapy - how long did it take for you to see the desired results?
