Wondering

I can't find anything online about this at all and I'm hoping someone on here knows.  Maybe I'll just wait and ask my surgeon.  But soon, hopefully this summer, I'll be having an artificial anal sphincter put in and I'm wondering if what my BM's will be like and if I'll have gas even!  And I wonder if my bloating will decrease.  I cramp a lot sometimes when I have a BM which my surgeon said may be caused by severe scar tissue that I have inside and I wonder if this will subside as well.

I'm just waiting for another appt with my rectal and anal surgeon in Toronto to apply for out of country surgery and I will ask him, if he doesn't have the answers I'll phone the really nice lady that gave me her number at the Cleveland hospital. I thought I would have to have a bag for a while, but when I initially talked to her she said that wasn't necessary.
