Severe anal pain!!!

Hello everyone

I am 43 years old and a very keen runner, over the past 4 months I have had severe anal pain, it's much worse after going to the toilet and I feel the need the pass urine far more than I did. I have no blood, just severe pain

Have been to my doctor, they first thought it was piles and gave me molaxole, which I have been taking without any relief!!! The pain is so bad, no pain killers even get close to touching this pain. If it was piles why would I feel the need to urinate more and have no blood at all???

I do have a hospital appointment, but thus is not until the 19th April 2011, just wanted to check if anyone else has this problem and what it could be, I can't stand for long or sit, it's just far too uncomfortable

Andy, not sure what to tell you. You need to have it looked at and until then, not much we can do or say here, except sorry your have pain.

Does it happen 24/7?

Might be internal Hemmies perhaps.
