Sitz marker test - anyone?

"Hello everyone"...I'm hoping someone can help me with a question I have. I had a colon transit study test done, I just finished it up today. You swallow a capsule with plastic rings known as sitz markers, then you come in the next day 24-hours after swallowing capsule and have an X-ray. You then come back on the 3rd, and 5th day for X-rays. Now you can't use any Laxatives during this 5-day period.

I was wondering if anyone has had this test and interpret their findings. I've read on it but would like to actually here from someone that has first knowledge of this test.

Serenitee How did you make out? I just took my sitz pill on wednesday and I am going tomorrow for my first Xray. I did not go to the bathrrom for 4 weeks I did take laxitives and I did go then I had to get a colonostopy and I drank that horrible drink and it didn't even clean me out that was over a week ago. So they sent me for the sitz marker test I am having my X ray on Saturday and no I haven't gone to the bathroom since last Wednesday the 11th. I am scared but I am tired of feeling sick and stomach pains.
