I'm sorry you keep vomiting.  I don't like an "IBS" diagnosis either; for many people it turns out just like you said - the real problems don't get diagnosed in a timely manner because the medical team has decided there is "nothing wrong except an irritable bowel."

It's hard to say what might be next for you because you didn't provide a lot of info - what kinds of drs you've seen, what testing has been done.

OK. If you are only still seeing your GP, here is what I would do if I was your parent. I would try to decide when this issue becomes really disruptive to your life - losing weight, unable to do your school-work, unable to be with your friends. If the problems meet this criteria, then I would push to have you seen by a specialist, a gastroenterologist. But I have to tell you, the testing a GI will do is going to be invasive (scopes upper and lower), and will require fasting, special bowel preps that give you diarrhea, anesthesia. They are not pleasant tests, but they do provide answers. So talk to your parents about what's going on and figure out how much farther you want to go to find an answer.

It's important that you try your best to describe how you feel accurately. Keep a journal of your diet and your stomach issues that you can share with the DR.
