If you had severe lesions throughout your colon in 2010, what did the DR do to treat that? That sounds like inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), not IBS (which stands for irritable bowel syndrome). IBD is managed through medication and sometimes diet, and without a DR's care you are not going to get better.
Skinny or narrow stool indicates inflammation in or near the rectum. The red is blood. The mucous is typical of IBD. Go back to your DR and get treatment. You should post in the Crohn's or in the UC forum here for more specific BTDT advice.
He lasered them, and I had to have a lot of fiber, plus a baby food diet for two months. He had me taking tylenol 4 as needed. Now the medicine just doesn't really help.
