Hello all,
I just wanted to share that today I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy and everything was normal. I have been suffering dyspepsia for years and have a recurrent bleeding hemmarroid (sorry about the spelling) and have been really quite anxious over the years.
I would like to encourage anybody who is ever in any doubt to have the procedure, as I found the whole thing to be stress and pain free. The staff at the Bunbury Regional Hospital were outstanding and I was treated with concern and respect all the way through.
Even the dreaded prep was a piece of cake. Its amazing how sometimes your perceptions of what is can completely obscure reality!
Piece of mind for me and my family is a wonderful thing.
I also wanted to say thank you to those of you who have responded to my posts. If it wasn't for this forum I would have never have had my procedures. Considerate yet sensible advice is often hard to come by, particularly in the tangled world of the Internet. So thanks for caring for someone you will never meet, its good to know there are still strangers out there who would look after you if you needed it.
I wish everyone here all the very best of health and I will regularly check back to up-date my situation. Lets hope the bowels of the world can bugger off and leave us alone!
