IBS, or something else?! HELP?!

Okay, so, I'm seventeen, a virgin. In May, I went to the doctor for an infected fistula above my anus, he then put me on Cipro, and from day one I started having all its side effects, irregular heartbeats, loss of appetite, disturbed sleep, anxiety..etc. After 6 pills, I stopped. But then before I went to the doctor's. I used to wake up, do liquid diarrhea, and nausea. EVERYDAY! Now since may, I've been having pain in the lower and upper left side, nausea all the time, loss of appetite, diarrhea, constipation, severe bloated stomach, uncomfortable pressure in my intestines, back pain. I was wondering, what do I have?! Is it IBS?! And the thing is my stomach keeps bloating up, and have an uncomfortable pain. I'm really worried. Could someone help me?! What's wrong with me?!

It sounds like, because you didn't finish the antibiotic, the infection got inside your intestines! You need to get back to the DR. Now,

tell him what you did and get back on some Medicine. And take All of it, if it makes you feel bad it will pass and its better to be sick or uncomfortable for a couple weeks than to be Very, Very Ill for Months. Oh and good for you on still being a virgin

I think you need a full work-up to rule out Inflammatory Bowel disease, which includes Crohn's and Ulcerative colitis. You need to contact your doc and try to see a GI. A workup should include lab tests, a colonoscopy, an upper endoscopy and possibly a pill cam test or small bowel follow through test. Sorry you are having such a hard time
