Hello. I'm new here to the forums, and thought I'd ask a question to you all. I had a colonoscopy yesterday and have been diagnosed with IBS (for constipation issues). My GI doctor recommends me take 3-4 scoops of Miralax a day. I'm a bit confused on the dosage as the cap of the bottle serves as a single dosage. I plan on calling my doctor tomorrow, but thought I'd pose the question here to the members who've been taking Miralax for IBS and chronic constipation. Am I to break the dosing down to 3-4 times a day? Or should I be mixing 3-4 caps of the Miralax into one dose a day? Any help on this would be appreciated. I know there was a topic about
Miralax quite a few years ago here (that's how I found this forum). But any help on this would be great.
Thanks,
Lillian
