This is what happened to me since two months ago and I still didnot get over with it and don't know what the reason is:
in July, I noticed that there was 1 piece of small stringy blood clot in each urination and it last for 3 days. No other symptoms, but this still freaked out. I went to see the urologist at Mayo Clinic who did the blood/urine tests, lower abdomen and pelvic CT and cystoscopic exam of my bladder and all results turned out to be fine. So he said it should be just an accident.
But since I saw the blood, i was under a lot of stress, my appetite got worse, digestion got worse, got bloated abdomen, stool was loose sometimes, and i could see food not completely digested well, especially veggie. I went to see the family doc who did the blood test and abdomen ultrasound and again everything was ok. she said it is prob just IBS. Since i don't have any pain or significant discomfort, i was just trying to adjust my diet and eat probiotic from digestive advantage sometimes.
At the end of August, i noticed that there was some redness under my penis foreskin (uncircumsized). No other itchy or pain. The doc prescribed several antifugal cream which didn't help.
Then a few days ago, I started feeling some pain in my penis and sometimes lower abdomen area too. when I sleep on side (either left or right), i could feel some abdomen discomfort and slight pain. I did anoiother urine test today and didn't see any infection. And the doctor at UC just asked me to follow up with my regular doctor.
I am not sure whether all of the above is caused by my digestive issues and the associated stress. I had similar digestive problems in 2006. The doctor did the CT scan and stomach/colon scope test for me and all was fine. That was sort of triggered by stress too and it just recovered gradually. I wonder whether it is the same again this time. I am bothered, but the doctors don't have other recommendations besides asking me doing the painful CT and scopy tests again.
any advice is greatly appreciated, or maybe i am just over-worried. Thanks.
