Hi I am new to this site so I hope I am using it correctly....I apologize if I am not
Actually I used to come blood around stool everyday for last two weeks.So my GI doctor have done colonoscopy last friday.Find out just inflammation in rectum ( mild ulcerative proctitis ) & still waiting for biopsies result.
But still bright red blood coming around stool.I am worried it could be due to colonoscopy Or some another problem???
Guys Plz suggest me,

UP can cause the blood you see. C-scopes can aggravate it. UP is a chronic condition and is usually treated with rectal meds and sometimes diet modification. We're you given any medication?

Because your bleeding is at the lowest place the best way to treat it is with Canasa suppositories or mesalamine enemas instead of taking pills. No, using enemas is not as easy as a pill but believe me it will work.

If I had been more faithful using enemas way back when I was diagnosed with UP I might not have progressed to ulcerative colitis (UC). I'll never know but am passing on this recommendation to you.

Some doctors don't tell their patients about enemas because they've heard they don't like using them. Ask your doctor for a prescription for them and then use them every night until the bleeding stops. You can use the Canasa suppositories during the day.

Eventually you won't need them unless you see blood.
