Hi. I really wish I could learn to live with IBS and not panic all of the time. My bowel movements have been kind of normal lately. However, one came out tonight that was round and flat - kind of like a pancake!! What's up with that? I'm guessing that size and shape varies with IBS and I just need to learn to deal with the odd shapes that manifest themselves now and then. And getting older just adds to the fix. I also need to stop obsessing about
the shape and limit myself to just looking in the bowl once or twice a week. It sounds as though the only thing that IBS sufferers need to be concerned with is blood in the stool.
This site is so comforting, though and I appreciate having everyone around to listen and offer advice. Sometimes all you need to do to make yourself feel better is post a message and know that someone will answer that knows what you're going through. I'm thankful every day for you guys! And thanks for letting me post my fears! It makes it easier to deal with having people around who care and understand.
