I was unsure of where to post...as my symptoms are all over the place. If someone could help me out it would be much appreciated. I am 30 years old, no previous health problems. Back in March i had surgery to get a fibroid from my uterus removed. It went smoothly, a couple weeks afterwards i was bloated and had gas. Then i started to get bouts of diarrhea and constipation for a long time. Mostly diarrhea at first, after meals and quite extreme. After the surgery i gained a couple pounds which wouldn't go away, even though i was going to the washroom a lot. I am relatively slim so didn't make much of a difference just really bloated. Went to the doctors he did blood tests and found out i was anemic, my ferrtin was at 11. So he gave me iron supplements, which screwed up my body more, by causing localized stomach pain, insomnia and anxiety. I went of the supplements as my hemoglobin was too high and just continued to eat a regular diet. My symptoms continued to become constipation/diarrhea, as well as narrow stools and insomnia. I just started getting headaches as well, which is weird because i never get headaches. Now when i try to sleep i have the localized stomach pain, tingling all over body, and sometimes headaches throughout the day. I got more blood drawn, ferrtin was at 38 and then dropped down to 30 in a couple weeks. The doctors seem to just do blood and stool samples, which bothers me because i know there is something wrong because of the pain in the same area and feeling generally unwell. It is hard for me to function and go to work because i don't sleep because of this issue. Help please..........
