During a diverticulitis attack how soon do you have pains after eating? Are the pains constant or intermittent? Been having mild intermittent pains.

When I have had diverticulitis it usually starts gradually and then BAM I get real pain. Mine have never been tied to eating. Normally by the time the infection is causing me pain, I don't feel much like eating.
