Has your doctor mentioned probiotics? They can help you recolonize your intestinal flora. Any time that you are on antibiotics it is recommended that you go on probiotics. Make sure you get some that contain many strains of bacteria and yeast.
Something else that you may want to try is DGL Licorice. It coats the lining of your intestinal tract and may alleviate the "hunger" pains. I take the German Chocolate flavored and they are delicious.
You may also want to modify your diet by eliminating any irritants such as citrus, tomato sauce, spicy foods, MSG, and other foods known to cause irritation to a sensitive intestine just to see if the pain lessens or goes away.
Bananas are also used by some to coat the lining and contain natural prebiotics which help control the pain. Just make sure that you chew the banana until it is puree instead of swallowing it in chunks.
